Copyright and Licensing Policy

Authors publishing in the Uzbek Journal "Problems of Mechanics" retain copyright to their articles.

Authors are not required to transfer copyright to the journal or its publisher, I-EDU GROUP LLC. By submitting an accepted article for publication, the authors grant the journal and publisher a non-exclusive right to:

  • publish the article for the first time;
  • identify the journal as the original place of publication;
  • distribute, archive, index, and preserve the published version;
  • register and maintain the article’s DOI and metadata.

Creative Commons Licence

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0).

This licence permits users to:

  • copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format;
  • adapt, transform, and build upon the material;
  • use the material for academic, educational, commercial, and other lawful purposes.

Users must:

  • give appropriate credit to the author or authors;
  • cite the Uzbek Journal "Problems of Mechanics" as the original publication;
  • provide the article title, publication details, and DOI where available;
  • provide a link to the CC BY 4.0 licence;
  • indicate whether changes were made.

No additional restrictions may be imposed that prevent uses permitted by the licence.

Authors’ Reuse Rights

Authors may:

  • deposit the published article in institutional or subject repositories;
  • publish it on personal or institutional websites;
  • use it in teaching, presentations, dissertations, books, and later works;
  • distribute copies for academic or professional purposes.

The original article must be appropriately cited, including its DOI where available.

Third-Party Materials

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use copyrighted figures, tables, photographs, data, software, or other third-party materials that are not covered by the article’s CC BY 4.0 licence.

Any material subject to different licensing conditions must be clearly identified in the article.

Peer-Review Reports

Review reports are treated as confidential under the journal’s double-anonymous peer-review process.

The journal will not publish or publicly share a review report without the reviewer’s permission, except where disclosure is required for an authorized ethical or legal investigation.

Copyright Infringement

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts do not violate copyright, licensing, or intellectual-property rights.

Suspected plagiarism or copyright infringement will be considered under the journal’s Plagiarism Policy and Allegations of Misconduct Policy. Appropriate corrections, removal of material, or retraction may be applied where necessary.

Disclaimer

Opinions and conclusions expressed in published articles belong to the authors and do not necessarily represent the views of the journal, its Editorial Board, Founder, or publisher.
